Is airport transportation included in our package?
Yes, your package includes round-trip shared airport transfers between Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) and Dreams Cap Cana Resort & Spa. Once you clear customs and retrieve your luggage, you will head to the designated transfer desk to board your ride.
How long is the drive from Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) to Dreams Royal Beach?
Dreams Royal Beach is located on Bávaro Beach, approximately a 20- to 25-minute drive (about 12 miles) from Punta Cana International Airport.
What is included in the Unlimited-Luxury® experience at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana?
Your package includes gourmet dining across 7 restaurants, unlimited top-shelf spirits and beverages at 10 bars and lounges, 24-hour room and concierge service, pool and beach wait service, daily entertainment, and non-motorized watersports.
Are reservations required for the restaurants at Dreams Royal Beach?
No reservations are required at any of the resort's à la carte dining locations, giving your family complete flexibility to dine whenever you choose.
Is travel insurance required, and why should we add it?
While travel protection is optional, it is strongly recommended. Insurance covers unexpected flight disruptions, baggage issues, medical emergencies, and unforeseen cancellations.
Do we need to bring cash or local currency?
U.S. Dollars (USD) are widely accepted throughout Punta Cana. Keeping small USD bills ($1s, $5s, $10s) handy is ideal for tipping resort staff, drivers, or purchasing items from local beach vendors.
What are the entry requirements for traveling to the Dominican Republic?
All travelers need a valid passport book (valid through the duration of stay, though 6 months beyond travel dates is recommended by airlines). Additionally, all visitors must complete the free, mandatory online Dominican Republic E-Ticket (immigration, customs, and health declaration form). Generating the required QR code for both arrival and departure can be done up to several weeks before travel.
Is Wi-Fi included at Dreams Royal Beach?
Yes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, including guest suites, public areas, and pool/beach spaces.
Are off-property excursions included in our rate?
Off-property tours (catamaran cruises, zip-lining, buggy tours, or visiting Scape Park) are not included in the package price. Excursions can be added to your booking in advance or reserved on-site through the tour desk.
What happens if we want to change details before paying the deposit?
Since no inventory is held prior to deposit, we can modify room categories, flight times, or travel dates anytime. Your package will simply be repriced using live system inventory when you are ready to pay your deposit.
